They are both bulbs and come in a kit. You should check Lowes inside and also Walgreens or CVS. This is the time of year when both are out.

She might like some paperwhites or an amaryllis for her space. They both have striking blooms and smell sweet.

She likes seeing the few flowers I've put on her table, but she can't take care of them or anything. I have an orchid right now that's growing a stem and she seems to enjoy waiting to see when it will bloom
