As a precaution, Wilkes County Schools will be dismissing early today. Elementary Schools and Wilkes Early College High School will dismiss at 1:00pm, and middle and high schools will dismiss at 1:30pm.


All after school activities are cancelled.

Tomorrow, which was scheduled to be a Required Teacher Workday, will now be an Optional Teacher Workday.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
