Wilkes County Schools

In assessing roads today, we are still finding some areas where it would not be safe for buses to travel. For this reason, Wilkes County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st. This will be an Optional Teacher Workday.

Moving forward, we may need to utilize Remote Learning Days if we were to miss multiple school days due to weather. Please make sure you are clear on your school's expectations for Remote Learning.
