I hear Mountain Aire Seafood restaurant (top of the mountain hwy 16 north) is starting an all you can eat buffet Monday night, May 20. From what I understand it will be only Monday nights. Might be worth a try. Big crowd there Mother's Day, as always.

I like to fix a boston butt occasionally with red BBQ slaw, mashed potatoes and crispy cornbread. Asparagus would be a good addition. I've not tried wrapping it in bacon, though.

Hey trybutt, why do YOU feel compelled to infect yet another thread with your overabundant TDS?

What's with all this exotic cordon bleu fancy food crap? This is the land of biscuits and squirrel gravy and the home of the free. Looks like we've got a bunch of godless commies trying to corrupt our taste buds! Don't they know "The Chosen One's" favorite food is Mickey D's hamburgers? That's as fancy as you need to get or leave the MAGATRY!

My son and his family are coming for supper so I've put a Boston Butt in the smoker, going low and slow at 225 and adding apple wood chips to add extra flavor to the smoke.
Closer to supper time I'll grill fresh asparagus wrapped in bacon along with a few whole foil wrapped Vidalias.
