Can you first show me what rules they changed? Because as far as I can tell, it's always been the way...
Your Breitbart quote implied that they changed a rule, but doesn't say what rule they changed or how.

Trump turned 78 in June, Biden will be 82 in November.

Fine... when Trump wins in November, he'll only be 2 years younger than Biden. He'll be 79 years old. Biden was 78 when he was elected in 2020.
Is this what ConFakey refers to as "jerking the topic?"

That's not quite right, Thomas.
You're saying that you wanted the DNC to declare Joe to be unfit last year, when there was no real evidence of cognitive decline. But then you would have demanded that they force Joe to step down as President... a literal coup.
That, of course, would have divided the party, making easy fodder for Trump.
What they did, though, was more calculated. They let Trump go on and on about how Biden was too old to be President, and now everything he said applies to himself! As he is now the oldest nominated candidate in American history, and only 2 years younger than Biden.
The Democrats played by the rules, and it's inconvenient for Trump because he fell for the trap. This is the only reason that the GOP is upset about it.

like everything else Democrats do... its the opposite that's the truth. In their minds inserting a candidate that no one wanted or voted for is democracy.
Kinda like Anti's mindset.

"When it comes to celebrities and politicians, you really just see what people want you to see."
You got that right Anti, I couldn't agree with you more. There was a reason the debate was pushed forward to before the conventions for the first time. The media and the DNC could then act shocked at Biden's decline and insert Harris, you know to make history. This is also the reason no one was really allowed to challenge Biden in the primaries, if they had, Harris would never have won the nomination against a stronger candidate, so it all worked out according to plan. I actually feel sorry for Biden, they could have talked him into stepping aside without humiliating him in public, that goes for Hollywood as well as his so called friends in politics.

I think you may have just seen cherry picked clips. My mom has been in cognitive decline for 20 years, but until a few weeks ago her mind still worked fine. Sometimes she had a hard time saying what she was thinking, or might stumble when her body didn't do what her brain said, but her mind was still fine.
When it comes to celebrities and politicians, you really just see what people want you to see.

But you see, Biden is the one that stepped down... he wasn't forced out. Forcing him out would have required a literal Act of Congress.
You're also assuming that a mental issue existed last year, when it may not have. A lot of propaganda claimed it, but it was all easily debunked. No different than the claims of Trump's dementia, drug abuse, and bowel incontinence.
I don't know why the GOP are so upset about it, though. Biden literally handed the Presidency to Trump on a silver platter! Trump should not say another word from now until November, and he'll win in a landslide.
