War - a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.
Combat - fighting between armed forces.
While synonyms are often similar, they arent always exactly the same. Im glad you agree foxnose misspoke. Hopefully youll treat her the same way you want to treat Walz.

Combat and war are two different words my friend. He was deployed during war time. He was in Italy to protect against the "axis of evil," if you remember that term or not. He has never said he saw combat or that he was in combat zones of any kind.
Its a feeble attempt to undermine his service, which is becoming a pattern for you.
