Anti, did you buy an EV from Brittany today like you said you would. Did you tell her Abraham Drinkin was responsable for you buying from them.

Wow, what a huge coincidence! You just happened to be at a dealership today and addressed the very topic of the thread!

Amazing coincidence, really. Almost unbelievable...

I'm in the market for a new car, and a marked down EV sounds great! What was the sales lady's name? I'll give her a call and tell her you referred me.
Brittany with Hendricks Subaru dealer near South Point mall in Durham. You're a real AH.

Rivian has the coolest looking electric truck out there from what I can see. Hopefully they succeed.

Like I said yesterday most of the suckers have already bought one.

The facts disagree.

The International Energy Agency's Global EV Outlook 2024 thinks that "global EV sales could hit 17 million in 2024, meaning more than one in five cars sold worldwide will be electric."

By 2035, they project that 50% of all cars sold globally will be EVs.

In the first quarter of 2024, the US sold 400,000 EVs. Compare that to Q1 2023, when we sold 300,000... Q1 of 2022, when we sold 200,000, and Q1 of 2021 when we sold 100,000.

The reason should be obvious... people have seen oil companies price gouge either for fun or politics, and they're tired of being held hostage.

The facts show that there's only one sucker here, and it's not the people buying EVs...

I was at a dealership in Durham today. I asked the sales person why there were so many electric cars with sale prices. She said they sold a lot of electrics last year but very few this year and had to mark them down.

Electric cars were nothing but a fad that are subsidized by Biden's government.

Under the agreement, VW said it will initially invest $1bn in the electric truck and SUV maker, with another $4bn to be put into the company by 2026.
