He was in Europe in 2003, we were at war at that time. He was in the National Guard, there just in case the axis of evil escalated the war.

He did not say war zone, he did not say combat, as yall have tried to insinuate.

The campaign website said it. Not him. You said he has said it through the years. You're into semantics, so get down to the nitty gritty of it.

Nor does it say that he "retired as."

"After 24 years in the Army National Guard, Command Sergeant Major Walz retired from the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion in 2005."

Again, when he retired he was Sergeant Major. It was months after his retirement that it was lowered for benefits purposes for not taking the class.
