And the man in charge resigned when trump pushed back. The man was trying to use Trump to advance his project, and as usual T rump came right out with the real story.

If Trump gets in (God forbid) Project 2025 will be his agenda. He's tap dancing around it right now because he knows it will turn off a lot of voters, including many Republicans.
