What happened to the neighborly kidding between people of different political points of view? What happened to the barbecues where we'd kid around over our ribs and beer: "He's a republican but we don't hold it against him." or "He's a democrat but they aint all bad." or "He's independent, can't make up his mind which freakin way to go." Now I have neighbors that will hardly talk to each other because they support different parties.
