Hire a professional forester and have your timber cruised.
They will provide you with a report of what species of trees you have, the total volume in board feet and the current market value. Without this you have no knowledge of what you are selling.
You also need to have the boundary of your tract clearly marked by a recent survey.

It will depend on the type of timber you have. There are lumber brokers out there but I don't know any, anymore. Maybe reach out to the large mills in the area to see who they reccommend.

For you own benefit hire a knowledgeable person to monitor the activity of the folks cutting the timber. Folks that do this routinely take advantage of people.
