No, actually patriot I did not get participation trophies. I grew up right here in Ashe. I grew up back when teachers were allowed to teach other than for testing purposes. I learned compassion from being brought up learning the teachings of Jesus. I never said that people with disabilities can be doctors, but yet there are some that can. If they go to college and earn that degree they are entitled to practice. DEI does not stand for did not earn it. It means that the world is full of diversity, equal treatment is guaranteed to all people regardless of race or anything else and inclusion means that despite diversity all people deserve a chance to included and given a chance to use their capabilities. Our world isn't fair because of closed minded people that don't show kindness. Neither of the two main party politicians are fit to run this country! Our country needs a leader that has a brain!

Alright tmann, let's say you've got two doctors. One went to John's Hopkins. Very meticulous. Works in the ER and can sew a wound shut perfectly in seconds. We're talking perfect stitches. He works really fast and jumps to the next patient before they know what happened. We've got another doctor who went to chapel hill. Also works in the ER. His stitches are absolutely adequate but he takes twice as long to do them as the first doctor and they are rarely flawless like the first doctors. One day two guys come into the ER with cuts from a saw blade. The first doctor sees one guy and the second sees the other. First doctor cleans the wound and stitches him up in seconds. He's out the door before the patient blinks and on to another patient helping keep the ER from backing up with so many patients. The second doctor takes his time cleaning the wound and explaining each step of what he's doing to the patient. He does an adequate job with the stitches. Bandages the wound and answers all the patients questions, including how to clean and care for the wound.

Two days later the first patient is back in the ER. The wound is painful and irritated he even has a fever. He didn't have time to ask the doctor any questions so the day after he got stitched up he was digging around in his garden and wound up with an infection that required further intervention from the hospital. Which is the "best" doctor?

Any well intentioned movement never fails to bring out the meanest and most selfish elements of society in opposition, with all the most outrageous and fallacious justifications for their opposition. There's nothing ridiculous about my statement. College students in all fields are not having to pass their courses or board exams because of these DEI policies. You could very well end up with a DEI surgeon.
