This is actually a pretty interesting take. You see, black people historically have worse health outcomes than white people. Having more black doctors is something that could help address those health disparities that we know exist. also just because someone is "diverse" doesn't mean they're incompetent. I think it's interesting that people who see DEI as a fast track for incompetent black people to destroy the world have never considered that wealthy white people can often skate through life and end up with an impressive resume without really earning it.

I think diversity equity and inclusion are all good concepts, but in terms of corporate policy it's pretty much bs. All corporations and non profits have a DEI statement and often times DEI hiring guidelines that then get ignored. What we end up with instead is a reason for racists to invalidate any non white or straight person in a position of power.
