My initial reaction to the anti-vax, anti-mask faction was that they were misled, misinformed sincere believers and did not realize that their irresponsible behavior was prompted by fear and misinformation. But when they began to invent fallacious facts and stats to justify their claims, I realized that there had to be something sinister about their behavior. My fears were realized when they invented the story of Dr. Fauci colluding with the Chinese to deliberately create a pandemic by releasing the Covid 19 virus.
