DumbBell, wake up that's what capitalism is all about. They expect you to pay your premiums on time but when it comes to keeping their end of the deal, well that's a whole different story. I know you aren't very bright, but did you know the insurance companies invest the money you pay them. And while you're waiting for your settlement that money is still earning interest FOR THEM!

The wife has a cousin with some rental beach houses in Florida. He has stopped buying insurance on them other than liability. Not only because of the cost but he says if you have a big claim it takes years to get them to pay.
