We elect the President, the senate and the house, why not elect the supreme court?

I do feel it a great thing. To implement term limits upon it.

Term limits for every government official or employee.

I think we not only need term limits on the highest positions such as Congress and Supreme Court but we also need a maximum age. We already have a minimum age so why not a maximum age? Then maybe we could avoid some of the politicians serving when they are becoming senile. If we set a maximum age at 70, then we end up with politicians who at least still have some connection to the current population, even if only grandchildren.

Typical liberal whining. You lose a few cases and you're ready to blow up the system.

Here's mine on the Legislative Branch

Senate-no more than 2 terms...that's 12 years

House-no more than 6 terms...that's 12 years

12 to 24 years in Washington is more than long enough

I think it should be when the Justices Age plus Years of service on the Supreme Court equals 75 they must retire.
