Ten years close enough

Anti, you gave the example of a nineteen year old an a 17 year old so it wouldn't look so bad. Wouldn't you agree a 24 year old and a 14 year old is bad enough to automatically place the offender on the sex offender registry regardless of same sex, opposite sex?

What about the 24 year old having sex with a 14 year old Anti?

What about it?

I don't think you read the bill. Statutory rape is still illegal, nothing is changing with that. There was just a bit of discrimination in the law that gave judges the power to choose whether the straight offender should on the sex offender's registry... but they didn't have that power with gay offenders.

As a traditional Conservative that believes in smaller government, I approve of equality in the law and more discretion given to judges.

I'll admit that my spelling and grammar isn't very good. I only went through 9th grade. I'll tell you though Every time I've been corrected on here by the grammar police. They either used incorrect grammar, spelling or punctuation and it made me smile. LOL

That doesn't change the fact that you don't know what the words too or groomer mean.

Hb6 you didn't use the correct punctuation in your sentence.

Too, and to are different words with different uses. Maybe start with learning what the word "to" means and move on to more complex words like "groomer"

Hb6 I'm only Fred and you take up for groomers to much. You need to talk to your therapist about this.

Another new screen name huh? When you get exposed as a gullible hypocrite who will repeat any misrepresentation of reality you read on the internet and can't produce any actual facts just make stuff up and accuse people of abhorrent crimes of which you have no evidence. Right?

The only thing I'm "taking up for" is reality.

Hb6 you take up for groomers a lot.

No, it's up to the judge wether the person will be a registered sex offender, not wether it's legal or not. And it's not a new law. It went into effect four years ago and you saw a meme about it today meant to rile you up and incite outrage.

That's up to the judge under the new law.

It's not legal in California for someone who's 14 to have sex with a 24 year old in California.

At what age our we by law adults, from what I googled its 18. The law should be edge in stone, anyone under 18 is a minor. The law is the law, period.

14 with a 24 ? Or is it 16 with a 18 in NC

hillbilly666

Teenage of consent is lower in NC than California. You really have no idea what you're talking about.
