Hey dogbutt, let this assuage your ignorance:



The bump stock makes it easier for the shooter to move the firearm back toward his shoulder and thereby release pressure from the trigger and reset it. And, it helps the shooter press the trigger against his finger very quickly thereafter.

I don't have one nor do I want one but at least the court got it right that the ATFs interpretation of the of the law that says one function of the trigger doesn't apply's to bump stocks.
