****, if someone mails in a ballot, how do we know the person mailing it in is the person voting on that ballot? If there is no scrutiny of the drop boxes, how do we know there are not bundles of fake ballots dropped into it? Is election integrity important?

Hey fatey, had we used only election day, in person voting, your BIG LIE would have needed some other BS excuses when Trump lost wouldn't it? After all, almost no voter fraud was discovered was it? I'm all for same day voting, just as I'm all for mail in ballots and early voting dropped in the ballot box. In 2020 I mailed my ballot in. In 2022 I voted in person on election day. Both of my ballots were legit.

If you will take a look at what we have in office right now, I think you will agree that voting should have better guidelines. Open mail-in voting is an invitation to cheat, (which the Democrats are known for)

Republican-led legislatures in dozens of states are moving to change election laws in ways that could make it harder to vote. Many proposals explicitly respond to the 2020 election: Lawmakers cite public concerns about election security — concerns generated by disinformation that then-President Donald Trump spread while trying to overturn the election. The Brennan Center, a nonprofit that tracks voting laws, says that 43 states — including key swing states — are considering 253 bills that would raise barriers to voting, for example by reducing early voting days or limiting access to voting by mail. Lawmakers in a different set of 43 states have proposed expanding voter access, but Republicans have prioritized new security requirements and shorter voting periods.
