Asking such in an open forum gets ever one informed, Al. Don't u know nothing about private investigating like the feller which is the Go feller's stated source is real good at apparently.

Back,
Maybe you should have directed your questions to your "sources" in a private message because asking them in the open forum after your question has already been answered and a link provided made you not only look ignorant but lazy as well.

Our sources has been doing just such, Al.

Here's the link and just because you don't know or understand how thinks work doesn't mean that something nefarious, unethical or below board is taking place...it means you need to educate yourself.

Back,
If there's a vacancy on the Board of Commissioners the remaining Commissioners can appoint a new Commissioner to fill the seat for what unexpired time is left on the term. That is how Greg Minton became a County Commissioner again, he was appointed by the remaining Commissioners to finish Eddie Settles term.

Wonder what the rule was for getting the replacement feller in without a election or nothing.

Back,
"Dix was an Ashe County commissioner from 2018 until he resigned on Sept. 9, 2020."

If you'll notice Dix resigned.

interesting fact

A Wilkes resident was arrested for animal abuse for setting a trailer on fire with dogs inside. Wonder which death would be worse? Suffocation or having to fight another pit bull for your life? You win and you have to fight again. We know now that these fighting activities, with fowl, and dogs are being practiced here. And these individuals donate to county, state and federal officials in elections without shame. And officials take that dirty money. As one of the animal rights groups stated, these people are trying to get people elected that will not stop these animal abuse activities.

Do you want animal cruelty to be an acceptable practice in Wilkes County?

You younguns ort to ask the Ashe commission how TF they got rid of Dix a few years ago and got him replaced with a feller without doing another election and such.

If he left now, he could lose his "benefit" package.

Exactly does a "christian" family man end up with questionable photos? Could it be "wrong time wrong place"?

Acumen,
"How do we get rid of this guy?"

I be posted several times a link from the UNC School of Government that states that the only way Greene can be removed as a County Commissioner is if he becomes disqualified to serve, i.e., if he's convicted of a felony or moves from Wilkes County. The other Commissioners could vote him out as Chairman otherwise Wilkes voters will have to wait until 2026 to vote him...unless he chooses to resign, which I highly doubt he will do.

Wonder if he was between marriages at the time?

Unethical, no morals, poor judgement.

Acumen

Can he be removed from office and by who?

I read through again the American Dog Breeders Association statement concerning the allegations they received from one of their judges. A female judge made claims on social media and to the association that she was being harassed by Greene after supposedly having a relationship with him. She claimed that he had sent her personal intimate photos to other judges. Her attorney sent Greene a cease and desist letter concerning those photos. Greene denied to the ABDA group that he shared photos but did admit to having photos in his possession.

This must have occurred around Dec, 2019. The report from the ADBA reporting their actions is dated August 20, 2020.

This is not an old allegation. This is not 20 years ago.

In elections ads, did you see any mention of Greene serving as a judge for ADBA? Why?

Is this someone you want in elected office in our county? Besides the evidence of dog breeding for dog fighting, and animal abuse, you have allegations of harassment of a woman, and spreading intimate photos.

He certainly is not a gentleman.

And he didn't mention the ABDA, did he? Cover up.

'Breathtakingly Awful': John Kennedy Shares His 'Unvarnished' Reaction To Biden's State Of The Union
There is another tread with a video of Senator John Kennedy under the above tread. Well let me tell you we have a chance to MAKE HISTORY HERE IN WILKES RIGHT NOW! This animal fighting resolution being considered by Wilkes Co is to support of a BILL that the same Senator in the video is the primary sponsor on.

I don't see how any Republican can say Senator Kennedy is wrong about the fight act, if so they are what people call a RINO.

Why is this historic? Its something that BOTH Wilkes Republicans and Democrats can finally agree on !
Now that is big news!
