Why would she do that? Does she want us to see who his girlfriends are, or who are the people he still talking to about this building? He has no reason to talk to anyone because he does not have a job with the county any longer.

Now that we got that cleared up, u younguns reckon Stoney is enjoying the holiday weekend doing some keg stands at his church get together, perhaps the ol boy was gracious enough to invite his buddies from Calls and any dog fighting acquaintances which might ir might not be in town also.

States AG needs to conduct an investigation in to this. There is a money trail here. I would also like to know how joe **** the rag man has access to exactly how much money Vannoy has spent on the project. He stated 3 million, and then corrected and said morel ike 3.1. so tell me, why do you have access to how much Vannoy has spent on a big hole in the ground and not much else.
As long as this DS runs his mouth, I will never move onnnnnn!

Antithesis is correct. Martin's Roofing did seem to get much Wilkes County work when Stoney was involved.
Doesn't Stoney's daughter also work at Martin's Roofing?
Didn't Martin's roofing donate big cash to Stoney Greene's campaign?

He stated, " I don't think that's very good stewardship of tax dollars."
One problem citizens had with Greene besides all of the other charges were that he not demonstrate good stewardship either. He stated " that going with the Lowe's building would cause a tax increase and that the current plan would not." What a bunch of bull.
They want another building the same size as this one they voted on for $22M and $10M in interest. So do you really think your taxes will not go up? Commissioners even admitted earlier in these discussions that taxes will have to go up.

As usual, Stoney has his numbers incorrect. He stated that it would cost $8M to $10M for roof repairs for the Lowes property. The fact is that only one part of the roof needs repairs and this was estimated to have a cost $1M . The rest of the building has had roof replaced a few years ago.
Wasn't his big financial supporter the owner of a commercial roofing company?
I wonder how they feel about this? If the county buys the old Lowes then wouldn't they be in line to get a ton of money?
He is pushing the new county building so hard and for the funds not to get held up, because until these funds are released to the contractors on this project he doesn't get his kick back from the contractors for helping them secure their contracts on this building. When I listen to him talk, it sounds a lot more... desperate.
I think he's made promises to the wrong people, and maybe gotten paid, and now he can't hold up his end of the bargain.
I really would not want to be in his shoes...
