No, not arrested. Local business owner who may have been in the wrong place and wrong time, but he was in the right place at the right time while aiding and abetting SG's dog fighting training here in Wilkes.

I would like to know that too. People I have talked to said they had heard rumors for years but no proof. But I am sure that people knew and was a cover up. Maybe he is paying people off.
With all the talk, has the sheriff's department ever investigated him? I think we need the SBI to come in and investigate cause it is obvious that the sheriff's department is not doing anything.

Greene made profits from fighting and selling dogs and I am sure he didn't claim any of this income, has someone contacted the IRS so they can make sure he pays his "fair share" in taxes owed? He boasts about doing things in the county to boost tax revenue, but he is the one not paying taxes, seems like a "do as I say, not as I do" situation. Typical behavior from arrogant . Can he be anymore dumb?

Did Call's Distillery have a "Stoney Sympathy" party Saturday night? Maybe they did, but "don't tell anybody". FYI, all of Stoney's dogs have magically disappeared from behind the house where lives, 8840 Boone Trail, Purlear, NC 28665, which is still owned by his 2nd wife. Can't get a mortgage for where he lives and was court ordered to do so years ago, but got a mortgage under Greene Ventures LLC for two pieces of property at 5137 US Hwy 421, Wilkesboro, NC 28697, and the adjacent 7.4 acres(source: Wilkes GIS). He has blatantly defied a court order to put his current residence in his name but got a mortgage for these two properties with help of his current wife's credit,because he has no credit and hasn't for 25 years,while still using his 2nd wife's credit to be able to stay in house at 8840 Boone Trail, Purlear, NC 28665, no wonder he remarries so quickly. I wonder how is current wife feels about living in a house owned by his 2nd wife? He can't be fiscally responsible in his personal finances, is this someone you really want making decisions with millions of $ of taxpayers funds?

I think we have seen his pattern with wives, he has no credit so he marries someone that does have good credit so he can use and abuse it, its a clear pattern.
New week, more Stoney bad behaviors coming to the surface. He deserves no pity or sympathy at all, he has made this path of destruction and now its come out for everyone to see. He needs to resign first, then pack up and move away from Wilkes, because he is a permanent embarrassment to Wilkes County from here forward, and a embarrassment to himself but he is too dumb to see that or his ego won't let him see it, either way he is a complete degenerate loser and coward. Stoney at this point that only path to any kind of redemption is:
1. Resign immediately. 2. Come clean publicly and face your faults, that is what a real man would do, but then again real men don't abuse women either, so we all know you are going to continue to run and be the coward you are.
He has also drawn supposed friends into his misdeeds by not being truthful, and unfortunately its going to start affecting them too, and if they defend the coward and his actions, then they are no better than he is. People are going to realize now or definitely the hard way, that Stoney is no one's friend, just a poser fraud out for his own gain, so if anyone thinks he is your friend, then you are beyond ignorant. Stoney is low life scum, not the lowest, but pretty close. He isn't a has been, because he never was. #dotherightthing

Any news if the board is considering removing Stoney from the various other boards they have appointed him to serve on?

Any news if SLEEPY BILL is still supporting Stoney?
I think Stoney will stop going to the GOP meetings.
Man he was angry at the recent board meeting from watching the news story.
