The 4 commissioners should go apologize to Lowes and ask them to please sell their building to the county instead of to local businessmen. They should admit their mistakes of listening to an and try to purchase the facility or at least do the study.
All business men know you have a plan until another possibility becomes available. This is where 3 commissioners screwed up. And for my opinion, it only makes sense if there was another reason driving the decision by the one leading the other 2. And you could bet as usual, it would not be good, ethical, or honest.

Exactly how were voters to know that he was a complete fraud? I put a lot of blame on these individuals that say they had heard rumors for years. Well, how about reporting those rumors ?
I don't remember anyone ever saying anything on here about his questionable reputation. Even mentioning his number of marriages would have told voters that he has issues.

Everyone should take a hard look at Eddie Settle for grooming this and bringing him into county politics, he shares some of the blame. Be careful with your vote next election, because Settle isn't a sharp knife either, but when compared to Greene, he is as sharp as a razor blade.

Justoneme, unfortunately this is a "play stupid games, win stupide prizes" situation. The voters made stupid uninformed decision, and now have to live with this in office for two more years, and with his arrogance,ego,ignorance, and now acting like a pouting 2 year old pitching a fit, he can and will do a lot of damage to the county and anyone that opposes him, because his political career is over and he has nothing to lose.

I have an idea! Why don't we tie him up in court so he cannot perform his job. We could do the same at the next election. Lock him up on charges (true or not), keep his hands tied and we can elect whoever we want to. Aw shucks Democrats have already developed that scheme.

That article just reiterated things we already knew. And it really doesn't matter if he lied back then... he's been lying all along. The people that give the whole "nobody's perfect" routine wont care about this, either.

He entered a pretrial diversion program, according to local news reports at the time. (Pretrial diversion programs typically include drug screening and fines, and other penalties, and charges will be dismissed once those are completed. Punishment for others arrested at the event ranged from fines and community service to a four year prison term. "
So don't let him fool you. He was caught. he was arrested.
He said he was " at the wrong place , wrong time." But told a detective in an " interview the morning after his arrest that he was in NJ to see a dog show, according to the police report. But when questioned further, Greene , who was in his mid 20's at the time, CONCEDED THAT BY DOG SHOW, HE REALLY MEANT DOGFIGHT."
