Anita must be the same that bragged about Greene's power. Person stated that he had so much power that he stopped the county from buying the Lowes Facility. Just think about that. You have someone that has failed at every financial endeavor he has tried except for those kennels where he sold dogs to kill and be killed. And you trust him to decide what is best for this county?
Someone should check on his taxes, how much he pays and for what?

I've posted a link a couple of times from the UNC School of Government, Greene can not be removed or forced to resign entirely from the Board of Commissioners...unless he becomes disqualified to serve, ie ceases to reside in Wilkes or is convicted of a felony.

Anita Hill sounds like Mr. Greene's low IQ incompetent campaign manager. The fact of this matter is, Mr. Greene committed crimes and heinous acts and did his best to cover it all up to gain political position and power for personal gain, since he runs all of his entrepreneurial endeavors straight into the ground and bankruptcy. Everyone should only blame,look to, and point fingers at Mr. Greene for his crimes and heinous acts as he did this and it doesn't matter how,why, or who exposed it, the blame lays solely on him. Anyone that defends Mr. Greene at this point has some angle of personal gain by being associated with him. Keith Elmore and Greg Minton will push for Mr. Greens's removal, as they should,I am 50/50 on whether Casey Johnson will step up and do the "right" thing, but he should because it appears he can have a bright political future. Lastly, Bill Sexton is going to side with Mr. Greene and follow him off of the cliff like he is following the Pied Piper and destroy his future political ambitions. The only correct course of action now is the complete removal or forced resignation of Mr. Greene from the Board of Commissioners, because he is not going to change his ways. A snake will shed its skin, but its still a snake. Mr. Greene is arrogant,egotistical, and just plain stupid, which is a dangerous and volatile combination. If WXII will not pick up the story, someone should contact WSOC,WRAL, or a national news outlet such as Fox News and inform them of this situation or crime,cover up, and corruption. Bottom line, Mr. Greene must go if this current board wants to retain any credibility,ethics,morals, and trust of the Wilkes county citizens that have chosen them and put their faith in them to represent with ethics,faith,honesty,integrity, and trust.

What I sent Subj Stoney Greene
You have to rise up against his past and speak out publicly against his position with the county board. Wilkes county is the laughing stock of all of NC. He will have a negative impact on economic development for Wilkes. What company would want to start an operation here with Stoney in a political position.
Bottom line is, he knew where he was and what was going on. He did not leave, he did not report, he was arrested and indicted. That should be enough for you as well.
Speak out and demand his removal from Office!

The commissioners need to remove Stoney from ever board appointment he serves on, They have appointed him to several boards. If he does not resign as commissioner they must remove him as chairman, they must remove him from all board appointments.
The person who made the original motion to appoint can make a motion to rescind the previous motion and handle it that way. If Stoney will not resign they should remove as much of his influence as possible.
He could not even win his own county last night where he grew up over someone who moved here from down east when he is the county board chairman. Wilkes should have been a landslide for him with the position he holds.
The county has no confidence in Stoney.

If any of the current commissioners have the spine to call Stoney out it will be Minton and Elmore.
Minton is law enforcement, and I don't see how he can refuse to be on the right side of the law. Minton is a good man.
Elmore has been known to go against the grain over the years, Elmore is a leader who is not afraid to do the right thing. I can see him standing like Leonidas verses the Persian army.
Casey Joe has a chance here to be a leader and speak up, but I don't think he will. I hope Casey proves me wrong.
Sexton will be asleep probably.....

I have another thread asking about the current commissioners, who is the best and the worst. I would be grateful if people would answer as I am interested in knowing the citizens thoughts on that.
The two commissioners we have now that I think are horrible, are Stoney and Bill. Stoney is dangerous and Bill is as they say... as useless as t**ts on a bull.
Greene's political career is over, Sexton will be a one term commissioner.
Casey Joe can do well when he decides to take a stand and not be a follower.
Minton and Elmore seem to have had enough of the BS going on, and decided to give it up. I don't blame them !

From reading this I don't think Greene can be removed from the Board of Commissioners but it does look like a majority of the Board could remove him as Chairman.
