And I certainly will not ever support a group that refuses to call out elected officials for their crimes of animal abuse.

The Humane Society of Wilkes receives funding from the county so they will be silent on this. It all comes down to money.
I am telling you this was common knowledge, the other elected officials were aware of this back when he ran for commissioner. Maybe not to this extent, but they were aware. The GOP leadership, local law enforcement , the clerk of court, and district attorney were familiar with Stoney.
In Wilkes if you make no waves you are perfect for a political job. If you are a whistleblower you will be shunned by the elected elite. So no one spoke up, and until we have real news coverage here this will continue to worsen.
The citizens have no idea just what a corrupt county they reside in. If you are not in with the elite, this means elected officials, local news, various boards etc. This applies to both political parties, then you are out ! They see you as a enemy, and will only give you attention when they need a vote.
Stoney owes it to the people of Wilkes to resign.

Mr Hobbs. The evidence is here in this thread, The admitted wrong place at wrong time, he is dirty, its our duty to rat people like this out. I do not expect the other BOD members to act quickly, but we must be an ice berg and never stop pushing for he oust. Make them all sweat until they act. There are already sympathizers, calling this a stunt.

We need to be researching and finding out more information. We will not stop. He has dirty hands. We should contact those animal groups that published the story and ask them to cover this more.
And exactly why has there not been a response from our local animal group? I guess they give passes to elected officials.

F5 - you can't assume that others knew what he was. It's most likely that he lied to everyone. And... things take time. If you have evidence of his continued involvement in illegal actions please contact law enforcement.

Aggressive protest may work in other parts of the world, but here that will backfire...and create sympathy for Stoney.
I will go and ask in public for him to resign, if people feel strongly about it why not do the same?

I think you need to seriously weigh in on the history of Stoney S Greene and strongly consider his removal for the County Commissioners. You should not wait for his resignation , you know it is coming. Remove him as soon as possible! If you do not take action, you will be viewed by me as no better than he.

I think there is a a county Board meeting tomorrow. Go sign up and speak your mind you have a right to do so.
I think he should be removed because of how he handled this if nothing else by saying "wrong place at the wrong time".
If Stoney's story were even possible when he realized it was a dogfight, then leave why didn't he leave?
It was a big deal according to the news it was the largest dogfight bust in the states history!
I bet the average person can't just wander into a dogfight?
Why would anyone travel that far to a so called dog show without doing their homework?
He knew exactly what he was going to, the only thing that made it the wrong place at the wrong time is he got caught!
He should have just been honest with the people when this came out.
Why in the world the JP was ok with his answer is beyond me? I am thinking that just shows bias media. I think we need another reporter.

The link provided by F5R to demand that Greene be removed from the Wilkes County Commissioners should be used by everyone on this stream and anyone else that gives a **** about animals! It will also always be a black eye for this county if he is not removed quickly. We know he was there, he said so. We know he did not think it was wrong, because he did not say so. Our commissioners are public officials that have been elected to represent and serve us, the citizens of Wilkes County. if we shout loud enough. Public Outcry just might take care of this!!

That nice jail we built over there before long may be home to many of those who voted to build it. Maybe they knew this was coming, and wanted better HVAC just in case. |

I encourage all of you to follow this link and email every board member to remove Stoney S. Greene from the board entirely and immediately. Get everyone you know to email every board member. Scroll to the bottom of the link page below for email address links.
Do it now and don't stop until he gone. IT is well documented that he was in fact there and by saying wrong place at the wrong time confirms this. He did not leave he did not report, he was arrested.
Do it, post this on face book.
