Stoney Greene's confirmed connection to dog fighting and other confirmed allegations

Clarence,
"Albert do you think Stoney should resign?"

Yes

interesting fact

Posted 10:31 pm, 03/06/2024

Just another interesting fact. About 4 months ago, Elmore requested a vote to change and increase the times that a citizen could speak at a meeting. From what I understand, in the past citizens could only speak at the first meeting of the month. Elmore stated in his opinion, citizens should be able to speak at both meeting. He said if citizens took the time to come, they should be able to speak.

When they voted whether to allow citizens to speak at both meetings, guess who did not want to hear from you?

Correct!! Greene and Sexton.

They lost and you are able to speak now at both meetings! But as chairman, he will probably try again to shut you up. Watch out!!

So is anyone meeting tomorrow eve at the county building to voice an opinion about the removal of green? He's going to have to go..period. The people cannot trust the republican party like this, and we sure don't want to lose any races in November. Anyone this stupid should not be deciding anything for us. He's costed us financially and now we know he's stained the reputation of our county with his position in office.

Fox,
You've misread or misunderstood my postings, I haven't defended Greene.

I don't think the county puts a commissioner on the humane society board. They are an independent group. But I think a statement condemning dogfighting should be made. If it was a man up in Mt. View or Boomer running kennels for dog fighting, I bet something would be said and they would attempt to close it down.

If you are suppose to protect animals, you should do that. Not be intimidated by an abuser even if he is a commissioner.

Wrong, the Masons will cover up for him He is what makes up the Masons

He's also on the committees at BROC and Farm Burea Insurance although he never shows up there. He should get kicked from every position of even the mildest importance. The republican party of Wilkes should boot him, and I know this heat isn't good for his masons membership

Pikey do you have to wear your Fez to defend him or can you wear the western style hat? Is that a Baphomet Bonnet I see at Calls?

"My understanding is they called an "emergency " meeting last week that was "hush hush"."

If the county wanted to keep it "hush hush" they probably shouldn't have posted on the county website letting everyone know when and where the Board was meeting.

I also believe that there is strength in numbers and the more people that show up the better. Especially since the local newspaper and tv groups refuse to report REAL news and REAL facts.

I'm not sure that anyone will be allowed to speak at tomorrow's meeting. According to the policy, you must request to speak no later than 5pm the day prior to the meeting. My understanding is they called an "emergency " meeting last week that was "hush hush". I do think this issue should be pursued to have him dismissed completely, and it should be done in a swift and smart manner without screaming and yelling and causing a scene even thou that's what most of us feel like doing when we think about the pain and hurt he has inflicted on innocent animals as well as his corrupt ways and how he throws his weight and title around as to try and intimidate and influence people. I for one will vow not to support any person or business that supports him. Maybe if they are impacted enough in their businesses they will quit supporting him as well god knows he can't pay their bills simply because he doesn't pay his own!

The local Humane Society is great, They depend on funding, and the county gives them some money.

Stoney is the chairman. It is not their fault that he was elected, They should not be punished for the position they have been put in. I assure you that if anyone there supported Stoney it was whatever commissioner that the county has appointed to the Humane Society Board and no one else.

I am telling you now. I have given to the Humane Society, but if they are indebted to a dog fighter, I will not send in one more thin dime. I would as others to do the same thing until they acknowledge this major issue.

The reasons you posted Clarence is why these officials have no respect with citizens. As long as he is serving, there will be no trust, no confidence in this county government.
