Well, Karen and Wayne, the comment was actually sincere, reflecting the notion that some would make
Snarky comments. I will endeavor to avoid sincerity in future.

The problem was not wearing socks but to late, threw them away. Never had any feet problems like fugus or athlete's feet, still don't. I'm very particular about things I wear. As Barney would say, I nip it in the bud.

Thanks Metal I don't pay any attention to the haters. I'm like others don't like the politics, like to start real life stuff to talk about.

Always wear socks in any enclosed shoe.
A flip floral or sandals are ok.

My husband has skechers and they don't have any smell. I threw them in the trash few minutes ago, both pairs. My reeboxs are fine, no smell at all. Think Tilly right about socks. No smells in my closet, life is good.

Baking soda and sunlight is a good heps. They make anti foot funk spray in a can that you can buy too. Gas has the best thread of the day!

That's a bummer, gascon! Maybe wash them, put them out in direct sun? You could always keep them and have them be your river shoes.

You might try sprinkling some baking soda in your shoes, let it set for a while, then remove it.

I didn't wear socks with them. I throw them on to run to the mailbox, or check on my cats, things like that. But I'm never wearing shoes without socks again. I couldn't believe they smelled like that. I was going to tear out the walls in my closet if I didn't find the smell. LOL knslyr.

I have worn Sketchers for years and have never had that problem wash your feet and wear socks.

Do you wear them without socks gascon? I have found any shoe I wear without socks causes them to get stinky pretty fast, I guess it's from feet sweating, so I usually wear socks with most of my shoes.

Have you tried washing your feet? jk

Needless to say, I'm trashy them.

My skechers, both pairs stink so bad. I wash them regularly and wear them around the house only. My closet had a bad stink and was checking everything. To my surprise I picked up a pair of skechers and there it was. Took both pair and washed them, air dried for 3 days now, stink is still there. If you have skechers check them out, the smell is terrible. Yes I wash them regularly.
