I'm not really commenting on how why or when minors should be charged or jailed, just that it's easy to provoke outrage and confusion when you leave out all the details. I also think it's funny when you take a situation that didn't happen in the us, remove it from all its context and then try and hang it on liberals or California or whatever boogie man you're trying to invoke.
