The US June 2024 inflation was 3%.

Social Security cost of living adjustmentv(COLA) is determined by the consumer price index (CPI) for the third quarter of the previous year (July, August and September). So went inflation is high, the CPI is high. When inflation is low, the CPI is low.

Biden lowered inflation. The SS increase is diet COLA next year.
