It's a proven fact that Russian interference is why he "won" in 2016.
I think that the fear is that they'll help him win again. And truthfully, the United States will not survive the Second Reich of Trump. He will pull out of Ukraine and let Russia have it, which will result in BRICS overtaking the global economy. They win, we lose.
So yes, it's really quite terrifying.
