People don't brush their teeth, clean their gums, take a shower, they stink. Yes they should be made to wear a mask to protect the clean ones. And they don't even clean the dentures.

I answered this earlier.
Any other country, the people would have had common sense and not needed a law, though. It should have never been a political issue, just a social rule that if you've been exposed to a cold or anything, or if you don't feel well, then wear a mask and social distance.
But since it DID become political, Republicans are the ones that feel like they can't wear a mask or they'll appear to be a Biden supporter. God forbid THAT happen, so they'd rather people die.
Without an enforced law on it, I don't know any other way to fix it.

I don't care where you're located, viruses work the same worldwide.
How many lives are you willing to sacrifice for your vanity?
I mean that seriously, what is the actual number? 27,000 Americans dying each year from the flu isn't enough, and 700,000 worldwide isn't enough. 1.2 million American dying from COVID isn't enough, and 7 million worldwide isn't enough. What is the actual number of deaths that would make you say, "****, I wish I'd worn a mask."
I'm betting that the answer is... one. It just has to be someone you care about.

I've already shown the studies countless times. If you have COVID and aren't wearing a mask, and I AM wearing a mask, there's still a significant chance of me getting infected by you. I think it was a 40% chance if I'm wearing a regular surgical mask? I don't remember now, I'd have to go back to the beginning of the thread to find the study.
But if you and I were both wearing a mask, the chance of transmission is nearly 0%.
You are demanding the right to infect other people for the sake of your own vanity.

Yes.
To fight this scary COVID? No.
As I've shown you, we had 0 flu deaths when everyone was taking precautions versus, what was it, 27,000 a year otherwise? Wearing masks could save 27,000 American lives every year, just from the flu.
Had we all worn masks in February 2020 when the WHO told us to, instead of half of the nation listening to Trump, there would have been no pandemic. 1.2 million people wouldn't have died from COVID. The nation wouldn't have shut down. And we would have had to deal with years of hyper inflation.
Right now the WHO is taking precautions for the next big pandemic... and if we all simply wore masks when we were around other people, it wouldn't be an issue.
The question is, how many lives are you willing to sacrifice for your vanity?

By proposing that everyone should continue to wear masks is overdoing it. However, it does not change the fact that those that refused to wear them during the height of the pandemic were extremely irresponsible!

Actually I have respiratory disease brought on my mold contamination in my lungs and now must be carry a rescue inhaler for when I can't breath. I also need to have breathing treatments every now and then but I am still not going to live my life so scared of catching something that I wear a mask everywhere. I had COVID and while it knock me down for a week I have had way worst flu's
