Sure... if the person that had had COVID had been wearing an appropriate mask, the odds of the other person getting COVID dropped to 17%. If both parties were wearing a mask, the odds were nearly 0%.
If neither were wearing a mask, the odds of transmission were nearly 100%.

Do you have a source for this number? I heard people whine and cry, but when a store said it was a requirement they always put one on... and just grumbled the whole time.
But beyond masks, people also social distanced and used a ton of hand sanitizer. Masks were one of the biggest helpers, but not the only one.

I don't think that there was ever a county wide mandate, but both Towns implemented them...
At the time, Wilkes had gone from 383 cases of COVID to 8,725 cases in 2 weeks... and 142 deaths.

We all know that 1.2 million Americans died from COVID, and they all were infected by someone not wearing a mask.
How many lives have to be saved in order for you to drop your vanity and wear a mask?
