What should the punishment be for those who refuse?
In my opinion? They should be immediately tested for both COVID and influenza, similar to a blood alcohol test.
If they are infected with influenza, they should be charged with assault.
If they are infected with COVID, they should face charges for involuntary manslaughter.
If there are no infections, there should be a fine.
I compare it to drunk driving because in 2022, 13,524 people in the US were killed by drunk drivers. That compares to 21,000 deaths in the US from influenza in 2022, and 1.2 million people in the US died from COVID total. If being irresponsible and causing people to die is illegal then I don't see why it only applies to one issue and not all.
Annie doesn't understand that 78 different studies found the same thing. Masks do nothing to mediate the spread of a virus. False. You're referring to one study that right wing propaganda sites took out of context.
Here's the study...
The study was on whether mask mandates worked, and they found the results to be inconclusive. Because, without penalties, people were ignoring them and spreading COVID anyway.
But we've had that conversation before... you ignored it then, and I know you'll ignore it now. Because that's what you and your ilk do, right? Ignore anything that doesn't support what you want to believe. That's called "confirmation bias," by the way...

They say 5% of the population are so Brainwashed that they will never understand what is really going on. They are too Indoctrinated and too far gone. Maybe the V and Mask Lovers are part of that 5% and they just never will get it. If that is the path that they want to take, then let them.

George Washington did order his troops to be vaccinated against smallpox, and during the polio epidemic quarantine was mandated by the government. Was the enforcing of these precautions medical tyranny?
