I was just pointing out you and dog gate were placing blame at the feet of the wrong people, it's not the fault of the deputies who responded.

Albert, you are correct there is nothing to protect you, I or anyone else in the county outside of city limits from the same. When neighbors actions threaten the safety of the neighborhood I just cant fathom waiting until someone gets hurt or worse. That is what we are trying to prevent at any cost.
More to come as we go down this long road navigating the political process.
Glad for others to join as I have learned this is being felt county wide.

I was one of the individuals who spoke about the shooting near houses in a neighborhood. We would like others to join in helping with some realistic ornances. Easter Sunday 2 shots came between me and my neighbors houses while we were outside. Deputies called and they will not take action u less someone is shot or a occupied car is shot or a occupied home is shot. Can't we all agree that is a bit late to take action...that's why we are speaking out.

The person shooting any firearm anytime at any place is responsible for every single round fired, and could face both civil and criminal consequences if any person's property is damaged or someone is injured. Shooting a firearm even inside of a subdivision is not in and of itself illegal.

I think it is was in a subdivision with children out playing. I think that would make a difference. You can check the videos of the meeting to see where it was cause I do not remember. But I had a friend that at their house, a neighbor was shooting and they ended up with a bullet hole in their window and they were working outside in their yard. Do you think that is okay? It was amazing that they were not hit.

"At one meeting, people were speaking about they could not get help from sheriffs department for people shooting guns off in their neighborhood and there were 2 deputies and sheriff at that meeting. I guess regular citizens cannot get help. Just the crooks."
It's not illegal to shoot guns on one's own property outside of the city limits.
