Why would the Republican Party dump Trump? The democrat party has made Trump a living martyr.Anti, you have apparently never been in a court of law or even watch an episode of Law and Order. There is no way this case will not be overturned. The district attorney stated he was going after Trump, a person, not a crime. There are rules of discovery which Trump was supposed to know the evidence and witnesses against him which didn't happen. Now the federal government itself refuse to go after Trump for the campaign violations. The statute of limitations ran out on the misdemeanor charges but Bragg brought it back up as a felony because of some underlying felony. This same district attorney office refused to prosecute Trump earlier on the same crime but decided after an attorney from the department of Justice joins the DA office. Now Anti, tell me what the underlying felony was. Tax evasion, campaign violations because these are federal violations which they have no jurisdiction. Ninety two percent voted in this jurisdiction voted against Trump but it was not the jury's fault. The judge's instructions were enough for another trial and a reason why he wouldn't be them in writing. You might have heard of the special counsel they had a couple of years ago where they had access to Trump's records so why didn't they turn the illegal activity over to the proper authorities? No this was all planned and orchestrated to land in the election year because they want to say convicted felon. So if Biden got 82 million votes and everything is wonderful as they claim, why are they so worried about Trump? Just run on that wonderful record.

1 I'm voting for RFK jr
2 This entire thing is designed to hamstring a candidate the Democrats can't beat.
3 I hope the American people revolt and collapse everything. Anything short of that will lead to is living in communism.

Prison ?

No issue.

Donald J Trump can multitask. He can Make America Great Again and do Prison Reform at the same time.

You can call Trump a convicted felon, you can call Republicans Trumpsters, but at the end of the day you are still Democrats.

"Remember that Trump's attorneys got to choose the jurors, so at least half of them went into it supporting Trump."

Anti, you say some of the most ignorant things. LOL

It's obvious you have no idea how trials work

Andrew Mc Carthy , lawyer, just said not someone can bring a case against biden for lying about the inflation rate when he took office.

He keeps lying that it was nine percent under Trump. It was less than two percent. He keeps telling that lie.

You won't like where this can lead There are lots of criminal cases in waiting just like this farce.

the more rons you support just saw to it Trump wins in a landslide.
What a dumb question.
The SC will reverse this in a few days. And the jury can now learn how they were used as chumps.

There are so many reversible errors in this mess the SC will likely be nine to zero.

They convicted a defendant that was not tole what crime he was being tried for until the end in the words from the judge to the jury.

And the judge gave them a nenu to choose from A menu that was kept from the defendant all the way.
Never mind innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt

No crime was mentioned or evidence offered during the trial. They make it up as they went along said Johthan Truley. Andrew Mccarthy and dozens of others who have spent years in courtrooms.

This will help Trump. What it has done is expose the rot of the dem party.

By the way... that is ONE COUNT the same count 34 times.

You are so stupid. Your party just convicted its biggest rival and you think you have the right to call someone else authoritarian. Pathetic.

Hahaha, there's absolutely no indication that any of the jurors were even Democrats! That's just more Russian propaganda that you're eating up.

Remember that Trump's attorneys got to choose the jurors, so at least half of them went into it supporting Trump.

The facts show that they convicted a lifetime criminal. There was just no way that his attorneys could spin it to look like anything other than fraud.

I think that there's a huge separation between Trumpsters and Republicans.

The traditional Republican party has nothing in common with Trump, who is an Authoritarian Fascist (neo-Nazi). They support him because they have to, but in a logical world they would divide into two unrelated parties.

The Democrats are the same way, there's no logical way to say that a moderate Democrat has anything in common with a Socialist.

But still... Trumpsters are more of a cult, but the traditional Republicans are less so.

Instead of "party" don't ya think "cult " is more appropriate ?

Trump's most recent conviction puts the RNC in an interesting position.

His sentencing will be on July 11, at 10am... 4 days before the RNC. Trump was expected to officially be declared the party's nominee, but that means they'll be nominating a convicted felon, and could realistically be nominating a man in prison!

Do you think they'll back off of Trump and nominate the second runner up... Nikki Haley?

Even the local GOP withdrew support for Stoney Greene after all of the dog fighting revelations. But if the GOP nominates a convicted felon, that'll set up a long precedent, and they'll lose whatever respect they have left.

Do they give up on this election and do nothing, or set a precedent that could put an end to the party altogether?
