Republicans Voted Against FEMA Funding Before Helene Hit

Foxnose

Posted 7:57 am, 10/09/2024

Typical Democrat ploy, load a bill with leftist pork, add a few necessities, then try to gain political points by saying Republicans are holding back funding for people in need. They will punish the suffering and needy in order to get you to buy and electric car or remove your dishwasher. It is the way they work

Hey antZtok, once again, for your edification the timing of the vote was purely coincidental. On the 25th of September, nobody knew the extent of damage Helene woulda cause.

Furthermore, the additional funding for your beloved FEMA was only a small part of the total in the stopgap bill, not a stand alone vote as your disingenuous OP insinuates AND misrepresents.

The stopgap spending bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support AND minimal opposition. Those voting against it had various reasons for doing so with extra funding for FEMA being just one.

What question are you talking about? I asked your opinion...

Just why do Republicans like to starve needy people and push people down when they suffer?

So you make the statement then give the answer in the same post. LOL

How can you trust Kamala with the handling of a Hurricane, after she allowed illegal immigrants, terrorist, etc...invade America through our borders?

That's just more Russian propaganda. The Biden administration has been tougher on undocumented immigrants than any President in American history!

Anti, I am sure you know why, why don't you just go ahead and tell us instead of teasing us with questions.

I think you're spreading it a little too thin... in reality, they appear to be willing to sacrifice a few thousand people if it will help them win the election.

You haven't suggested any other reason that they're refusing to call back Congress to discuss emergency funding...

This bogus thread was easily debunked a day AND a half ago...

Ha! What exactly do you think that you "debunked?" The fact that they voted against FEMA funding on September 25... proven... or the fact that the Republican Speaker is refusing to call back Congress to discuss emergency funding until after the election?

This bogus thread was easily debunked a day AND a half ago yet our liberal leftist **** are still arguing about the foolishness of the OP's claim.

None next door, but there is a pack across the road and two houses west, No vehicles and we see at least four and possibly six. This is one of slumlord conehead's rentals.

Do you have any proof of that or is it just move GOP BS?

Might just be because they have already given them the money once but......they chose to use it to pad their voter base.

Source?

Might be just because they were offended to see politicians use the money of hard working American citizens and spent it on ILLEGAL aliens,

Completely false. Congress approved money to be used at the border, and that has nothing to do with the Disaster Relief Fund.

Those ILLEGAL aliens they see using up their resources they have worked hard to build. Something like Social Security, Medicaid, public transportation systems and even their failed public government schools. I say, could be

And I gave you an answer, it just was not the one you wanted to hear.

I'm sorry, hon... was this what you thought was an answer to the question?

"There you go, exhibit A of the mind of your ordinary (special needs) Democrat. See what I told you, this is actually the way they think. No wonder they support Kamala Harris."

Just a thought, could it be because it had something else attached to it. Do you think it could be?

You tell me. What do you think is attached that would have caused them to vote against it?

And for what reason do you believe that they would refuse to recall Congress to provide additional funding for the hurricane disaster relief?

I asked you a question that you've ignored...

Why else do you suggest that they would have voted against the increased funding for FEMA in advance of the hurricane, and then refused to recall Congress to vote on further funding until after the election?

Trump told them to vote against it. Republicans want people to die.

Well... yeah. It does appear that they're willing to sacrifice a few thousand people in a liberal city if it can help them win votes in a swing state.

Why else do you suggest that they would have voted against the increased funding for FEMA in advance of the hurricane, and then refused to recall Congress to vote on further funding until after the election?

Trump told them to vote against it. Republicans want people to die. Trump conspired with Putin to kill all the people in America . He is probably invested in funeral homes to get rich. Just use your brain a little, don't it make sense? He can rape all the female corpses (not Marines) pick pocket all the preachers doing funerals and when everyone else is gone he can own take over all the high rises in Manhattan . It sure makes sense (TO DEMOCRATS) somehow it is just the way their little minds work

Also interesting... further funding requires Congressional approval, but Congress is out of session right now. And the only person that can call them back to approve emergency funding is Speaker Mike Johnson (R).

But... Johnson has said that he won't do that until after the election.

Biden has been here, fema is here and the national guard is here. You have no idea what you're talking about.

interesting fact

Posted 7:46 am, 10/07/2024

Democrats cannot tell the truth. Just look at the false dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton. White House spokesman caught lying about FEMA funding.

Where is Harris and Biden in this disaster? If it was in Delaware or California they would be there. Southern people are deplorable and they are probably hoping that more will be killed by hunger. That is why they waited a week before sending in help. Only Samaritan's Purse was there.
