Hey, I have a couple of questions for anyone who is a gardener on here regarding the rain

1. I am starting some seeds in pots outside, but it seems like the rain can impede their growth (maybe they get drowned??), which seems backwards to me. Any ideas?

2. Should I water today? It's still pretty damp at our house.

Thanks for all your help!

I hope not....it's hard to understand what he's saying. He's most likely a 9th grade dropout from the 70's.

*It's calling for more rain this week.
I don't know just how far. Or in depth our drought status. Is as of this date.
Some mods online I've seen. Have us in a moderate drought. Albeit, seems all surrounding counties are in extreme.
I read earlier in the year. That En Niño was in its southeastern Atlantic phase.
Which usually has the southeastern US drought stricken.
Definite fire/burning van in effect. Told not citizen burning permits.
Are not being allowed at this time. :)

Wow what a blessing last night's rain was.
Rain all night into the AM. Suppose to get more.
We are in a severe drought too.
