Don't get a cat if you cannot afford to take care of it.
But sure, whining about an avoidable cost is much for vogue these days.

How long ago were they $21?
I tried to compare prices for you, and I found this one-dose for $29.04...
Last year, it was $27.14...
The weight for that dose is 11.1-22lbs. Is it possible that your cat gained a little weight since your last purchase? Or that your previous purchase was Revolution, and now it's Revolution Plus?
If you want to save money, you can get 12 doses for $127.99... a little over $10 a dose...

I was shocked it went it so much. Prices are like that everywhere. Our homeowners insurance up 200 from last year. Really prices are getting bad. We don't eat at fast food places 18 dollars for 2 whoppers and 2 fries.

I've been shopping at Food Lion for 12 years. Yesterday I got Tyson chicken thighs family pack there on sale for 0.99 / lb. The same price I've gotten them on sale at for 12 years. WTF is going on? Some items are higher, but it's not everything.
