I think Israel did something similar with phones several years ago. It has to make the terrorist say 'If they can do this to us, what else can they do?' On the other hand I was shocked that Israeli intelligence let Oct 7 slip through.

On September 17, thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah simultaneously exploded across Lebanon and Syria. The next day, walkie talkies in Lebanon did the same thing.
This was an apparent attack by Israel.
What it means, though, is that the technology exists for someone to coordinate mass explosions of pretty much anything that's electronic.
If Israel can do it to Lebanon... Russia can do it to the US. And we're all happily carrying around little bombs in our pockets without a care in the world.
