Country guy, The problem is that most mechanics do not like to take the responsibility of getting a motor up and running that they did not build. I recently bought a newly rebuilt high -performance engine and manual transmission that were perfect but had to pay a mechanic to take them partially apart to certify that they were properly assembled.

Very sad to hear that. He was def "good people" imo.
My sincere sympathy to his wife and family.

Is there anyone or garage that installs an engine n a car. Engine has been rebuilt and needs to be installed and runnin? Seems most want small jobs or just tinker.
