This amendment is necessary to proactively prevent local AND state entities from allowing non-citizens to vote in local AND state elections as has occurred in liberal leftist enclaves such as Washington D.C. |

The amendment only has one purpose... to confuse the more ignorant voter into thinking that an issue exists that doesn't exist. And that little bit of fake news on the ballot might help to sway a few undecided voters to lean Republican.
It's all brainwashing and manipulation.

YOU HAVE TO BE A CITIZEN TO REGISTER, YOU HAVE TO BE REGISTERED TO VOTE. No one has said mere residency is sufficient in order to vote. As far as dead people voting that cuts both ways.

Hey Albert, have you noticed how easily our liberal leftist **** have been triggered to spew fake outrage and foist attacks against folks they disagree with politically on this subject.
Have any of them taken a stand and committed to voting against this common sense and necessary amendment?
Why do they feel compelled to miscomprehend the fact that mere residency doe not confer voting rights?
This is just like their opposition to positive voter ID and purging the voter roles at the precinct level at least every four years.

I think by now that most people have caught onto the illegal immigrants voting claim and see it for what it is, a scam, with exception of the MAGATS who like to believe their own fallacious propaganda. In order to vote you have to be registered, in order to be registered you have to present proof of citizenship. One of the last places an illegal immigrant is going to show their face is where there will be LEO's and government officials. So why don't you MAGATS ditch that particular line of crapola and dream up some other BS to spread around?

If this year's Constitutional Amendment for voter eligibility is already enshrined in NC's Constitution and the new Amendment isn't going to change anything...why would anyone be against it?

The way the ballot is written a good lawyer will argue that only 18 year old's can vote. Poorly written and totally unneeded. It's just to try and get republicans out to vote. It's just like voting on gay marriage, it didn't change a thing.
