LOL Cooper, Anti is silent. Welcome back Mikey
&&&&&

I'm not back. The Bible verses are message to beware of religion which is just a continuation of the same Post. Seems NOBODY is interested in Truth that comes only from Jesus. But would rather twist The letters of Paul making Paul their God. Jesus says by FAITH you are SAVED. Join the Disciples To The Way in standing up for Jesus in word and deed..

Christianity" (Greek: Χριστιανισμός) was by Ignatius of Antioch, in around 100 AD.

A Christian goes to church but a Disciple understands that he is a Temple of God. A Christian seeks to be encouraged; A Disciple seeks to encourage. A Christian reads the Bible; A Disciple teaches the Bible. For the Christian, Jesus is his savior; For the Disciple, Jesus is his savior - and Lord. A Christian gathers with other believers; A Disciple makes other disciples. A Christian's goal is to go to heaven; A Disciple's goal is to take others to heaven with him. A Christian surrenders part of his life; A Disciple surrenders himself completely to God. There's a huge difference between calling oneself a Disciple and Christian and living an authentic Life in Christ..

2 Timothy 4
The Message

4 1-2 I can't impress this on you too strongly. God is looking over your shoulder. Christ himself is the Judge, with the final say on everyone, living and dead. He is about to break into the open with his rule, so proclaim the Message with intensity; keep on your watch. Challenge, warn, and urge your people. Don't ever quit. Just keep it simple.

3-5 You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food-catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They'll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you-keep your eye on what you're doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God's servant

2 Timothy 4
King James Version

4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry

Acts 9:1-2

Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest
2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to THE WAY, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

Acts 22
New Living Translation
22 "Brothers and esteemed fathers," Paul said, "listen to me as I offer my defense." 2 When they heard him speaking in their own language,[a] the silence was even greater.

3 Then Paul said, "I am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, and I was brought up and educated here in Jerusalem under Gamaliel. As his student, I was carefully trained in our Jewish laws and customs. I became very zealous to honor God in everything I did, just like all of you today. 4 And I persecuted the followers of THE WAY, hounding some to death, arresting both men and women and throwing them in prison.

The disciples were called followers of THE WAY, because they were followers of Christ, who is HIMSELF the Way (and the Truth, and the Life; John 14:6).

I am THE WAY the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It is not just because they followed His teachings; it is because they followed HIM. He is THE WAY
