So, heard through the grapevine that the Chief at Moravian is no longer the track fire chief.

Or someone had no clue what they were talking about.

I guess something changed. Every time I was by their station during all the festivities, unless they were on a call, every truck was accounted for. Someone must have seen this.

I have to say, I haven't heard any of MO Falls FD's trucks at the race track this week. Can anyone confirm this? Maybe this thread reached who it was intended for.

Sounds like the call was more medical than any VFD could take on. They did their best, situation was more involved.

After speaking with the commissioners, I was told this is a board of directors' decision for the station. I still cannot get any of them to return a call, however, I will say this. Race week is here, there was a medical call this morning in their district, after insufficient help responded, comm center had to page any medical personal in the area to respond. I just hope the poor guy makes it. Even more so, I hope he is the only one that gets hurt without the protection he pays for during this week.
