I didn't pay much attention to this when it was in the news, I was too young and didn't care. But now I've watched their Netflix series, which I understand made the brothers very angry! It was apparently a pretty skewed point of view... and they have always stated that being sexually molested and raped by their parents was the reason for the murders.

The women of the original jury all agreed that the men on the jury caused a hung jury because of h*mophobia and the (warped) belief that if they didn't like being raped by their dad then they could have just left.

If this exact same case were to be held today, do you think that they would still be found guilty? Or are modern adults more sympathetic towards raped children than adults in the 90s were?
