Tell you what we need more is rain. Where I live we havent had any measureable rainfall in two months an none to speak of in the 15 day forecast. Yards are about dried up, the only consulation is havent had to mow in three weeks.

Heres surfers heat wave.June 19-85, 20-87, 21-89, 22-92, 23-92, 24-93, 25-90, 26-94, 27-92, 28-92, 29-89, 30-89, 1st 86, 2nd-89, 3rd 90.This is the weather channels 15 day forecast. As you can see only one day thats 94 degrees. Almost as many days in the eighties.So there you are.

The earliest temperature measurements date back to the early 1600s, but scientists say that 1880 is the first year when enough data was collected to create a coherent series. Before 1880, there wasn't enough data to make accurate calculations, so older records are uncertain. However, scientists can use proxy records, such as tree rings, pollen counts, and ice cores, to reconstruct data from before 1880. These proxy records can provide evidence about global temperatures from 1,000-2,000 years ago, and ice cores can cover a period of up to 800,000 years
The oldest continuous temperature record is the Central England Temperature Data Series, which began in 1659, and the Hadley Centre has some measurements beginning in 1850, but there are too few data before 1880 for scientists to estimate average temperatures for the entire planet.
