Just a word of appreciation for all the churches in our area that are helping our neighbors in the mountains. I went up to help distribute disaster relief and this is what I saw and witnessed. I realize I will be attacked and smeared by the anti-church people on here but let me tell you what I saw. I did not see any bars, dance halls, gambling houses or beer joints passing out relief assistance. Nope, it was those hypocrites, that are only after your money and feel like they are better than you (so you say) that are operating relief centers. Over 95% of the charities I saw were churches helping the people out. I only saw one person that had contact with FEMA on the phone but lost connection before finishing the application for assistance. Many military units, several NASCAR organization choppers and hummers carrying the supplies sent there by churches to the people in need. You people that begrudge and belittle Christians need to make a trip up there and see their generosity. Big groups like Samaritan Purse and Billy Graham Ministries are furnishing the manual labor in most cases. So, If you want to help, GO if your don't believe me GO. see for yourself
