Don't hate the landlord, hate the irresponsible pet owners. Animals damage rental property that a landlord has bought, worked on and tried to give you a decent place to live. They can never get the money back that you let the animal damage from carpet, walls, floors and doors. I'm going to say this also, if you don't own your home don't get a cat or dog because they are a l0-15 year commitment and they involves having them spade or neutered,in addition to yearly vet appointments plus flea meds.

Our sources said they will let them rental houses set empty for they rent em out to JT or them party animals and they service pets also which is in campus housing at the big ol yeller collage in Boone.

You really can't blame the landlord, honestly. I know it sucks, but look at it from their perspective... a single pet can destroy carpet, subfloor, baseboards, even the walls! Costing them thousands to repair.
I love animals, too, but if I was a landlord then I wouldn't allow pets, either. Even if you offered a pet deposit, it would be nowhere near enough to repair the potential damage.
The VA has home loan programs for veterans, have you thought about looking in to that? It's really the only way that you'll be able to get what you want without having to worry about someone else.

Milo, if you are 56 you need to stop moving around so much. Find you a good landlord, pay your rent and settle down. Ever heard the old saying a tumbling stone gathers no moss?

Did u r an . Nobody gets cures of ptsd ever they control it and not not everyone gets ptsd and also I'm 56 so yes I'm old enough for desert storm old enough to have been in it when it first happened so yeah but good for u not to suffer from it lucky but back off
As far as having landlords comply with the current law, do u have the money to sue them or time to waste for court or just time period

I also had 5 guys out of my high school class that were there an none of them had PTSD. Maybe we were the lucky ones but sure as hale wasnt lucky to spend a year there. One of them a marine got sprayed with agent orange an has had a terrible time with that. He cusses that every breath.

Milooopus, where were you to get shell shocked? Was it Nam? It couldnt have been Desert Storm because I believe you are older then that. You should have been cured of PTSD by now. I was in Nam, but I didnt get shelled. I have lived pretty happily since then. The only thing was I was scared to death the whole time. But I didnt have PTSD at least that I knew about.

Op first of all you need to learn to spell after that read the link below which states a land lord can't say no to a service animal and can not charge a pet fee for them either.

The local landlords can all go s**k a big one and like it. All of r animal haters. Nit all pets r bad pets so don't go judging all pets cause u had a bad experience. I'm a vet and my pets r more than pets, they help with my PTSD and yes they r certified for such but nope if it isn't for the blind or wheelchair bound person u people just don't care. I say again ALL local landlords r animal haters uncaring and price gouging people
