I don't understand what you're trying to argue with me about anti. My initial statement is pretty clear. Trump couldn't stop the pandemic from happening. All the things you're describing are governments reactions to the pandemic, not them stopping the pandemic from happening.

I said democrats are less vocally racist. Spend a few hours on gowilkes reading you and foxnose's posts is all I need to prove my assertion. I stand by that.

Anti, wether Trump went to the summit or not Covid, and much of the economic fall out from it, would have still happened.

Other countries acted swiftly, and kept COVID to a minimum. Ironically, China had one of the lowest death rates from COVID, in spite of being the suspected origin!

There are things that he could have done that we would not have liked, but it would have worked. Shut down international travel. Suspend all public transport. Mandatory masks with real punishments for failure to wear one properly. Strict outdoor restrictions... China only allowed one member of each household to leave the home every couple of days to collect supplies. Mandatory vaccines when they came available.

This is what other countries did, and it worked. Instead, Trump ignored it and believed it would "miraculously" go away on its own.

Republicans more racist? Who put more black people in prison Joe and Kamala or Trump. Who says black kids don't know what a computer is ? Who thinks black people need government assistance to make it ? Tell the truth now hb6

Obviously Trump couldn't keep the pandemic from happening, but he could have absolutely handled it better

I respectfully disagree.

You'll recall that WHO had a conference with all nation leaders in January 2020, alerting them to COVID and to discuss a prevention strategy. Trump ignored the call, taking no precautions at all. Shortly after it became a pandemic, he blamed the WHO and declared that the US would exit from the WHO!

He somehow convinced people that it was the WHO's fault that he didn't join the conference or take part in any preventative strategies.

Had he simply been in on the conference and taken precautions, he could have potentially saved 1.2 million lives. All of those lives are lost directly because of his failure to act.

Am I better off now than June of 2020? Absolutely! I make about 35% more money. I was able to buy a house and a much better car. My wife makes WAY more money now. We're not in the grips of a global pandemic with police riots ever single day. Obviously Trump couldn't keep the pandemic from happening, but he could have absolutely handled it better (so could have Biden). If Trump had just had better messaging with the pandemic, he wouldn't have even needed better policies, I think he would have been reelected, but his it's a hoax no mask, it's going to magically disappear, thing didn't work for him. That being said, things aren't perfect. I didn't vote for Joe in the primaries. I think he's WAY too old and way too conservative. Wealth inequality is huge (just like when Trump was in office) healthcare in this country is a mess (just like when Trump was in office. Still plenty of environmental issues just like when Trump was in office. Republicans and democrats are nearly the same, economically (Trump being a bit worse than your average Republican I think) but democrats are less vocally racist and are slightly nicer to gay and trans people as long as it won't hurt them politically, and while democrats will do basically nothing to protect reproductive rights, they won't personally erode them. Also with democrats there's a tiny chance they'll do something good for me the average person, like student loan relief, where as with republicans there's no chance and they'll happily fork money over to rich people in terms of incentives and tax breaks and sometimes just straight up money (democrats do it op, just not quite as brazenly) while they scream and cry rugged individualism and austerity for the average person. All politicians are beholden to their donors and all the wealthy industries donate to both parties. Democrats for me are just truly the lesser of two evils. The idea that Trump can "fix" this is asinine? Fix what? What even is there that he could fix and how would he? The system is working as intended. The only time it was disrupted was during the pandemic and that's why Trump went full "it'll disappear" wishful thinking mode, because he knew the system was being disrupted. We work and they make money. We give the government money and they give it to the people who donate to their campaigns. Wether there's an r or a d next to their name. It's that simple.

It is really sad that people base their happiness over what they are told by a TV and who's in White House.

Id you aren't "better off" now than you were in any previous years, its your fault.

Are you better off now than four years ago?

Four years ago we were in the grip of COVID, thanks to Trump's failure to act. Over a million Americans had died. Hyper inflation had already begun, and we were on the verge of economic collapse.

Biden's policies stopped, even reversed all of that.

There were riots over the George Floyd murder.

Unemployment was at 13.2%.

So yes, I am much better off than 4 years ago. We all are.

Is the country any closer to that more perfect union?

Not at all. Trump was the most divisive President in American history, and I really thought that Biden would be a great uniter... like Obama was. On that position he has been a major disappointment.

Is the world better off?

Absolutely, and without question. See my response above, most are the same.

Donald Trump can fix this mess.

Trump is the cause of the mess, you've just been so influenced by Russian propaganda that you ignore the facts

Remember, you asked for honesty and I gave it to you. I'll be happy to present all of the facts that prove me right, but you know what will happen? DB, Actually, maybe singer will all reply with insults and talk about how crazy I am. They'll transcribe memes that they saw that they believe proves them to be right. And when I post the facts, they'll just insult me for doing that, too.

There will be no facts from your side. No discussion, no honesty. Just hatred and vitriol.

Joe Biden wasn't the answer, not to any sane question anyway.
