I guess if the trees are in the right of way of the road, already reported as a potential road hazard and falls on someone's car then it will be the landowners fault. Somebody is going to get hurt or killed and no one wants to do anything. SAD, I say sue their pants off

Possibly Pike Electric, I see their trucks in the area very often

Pike is just a contractor for the power company they don't own the poles

So, with DOT, Duke, and others sharing the weak, old, crooked, leaning poles, who will bear the financial responsibility if one comes down on a vehicle or God forbid, kills someone?

That would be the electric company's insurance...

Trees should fall to the state or homeowner to be removed BEFORE they fall into the road. But trees are a natural hazard. Light poles are man made hazards.

Going down Boone Trail from Millers Creek to town it is evident sooner or later the power poles will come crashing across the road. Especially from Harmony Church to Suncrest Orchard Road. They say, "if you see something, say something". Well I am saying there is a very dangerous situation that is bound to happen. So, with DOT, Duke, and others sharing the weak, old, crooked, leaning poles, who will bear the financial responsibility if one comes down on a vehicle or God forbid, kills someone? Who would you sue? Everyone that travels this stretch of road sees this and I am sure all the companies sharing the poles KNOW of this potential danger. The question again is: Who is financially responsible
