Christians don't "follow" Christmas, Easter or Halloween.

Christians celebrate Christmas in rememberence of Christ's birth. Though not required in the Bible, it is not forbidden so whether a Christian wants to celebrate or refrain from celebrating is entirely up to him or her.

Christians celebrate Easter in rememberence of Christ's resurrection from death. Though not required in the Bible, it is not forbidden either. Whether a Christian wants to celebrate or refrain from celebrating is entirely up to her or him.

Halloween has, as far as I am aware, no Christian significance.

While it is true that those holidays were conscripted from other, non-Christian cultures, they were rebranded in an effort to spread the Words of Christ. It is simply irrational to look at the rebranded holidays of Christmas and Easter and find meaningful symbolism beyond that assimilated by the Christians, though, in today's world, commercialism has outpaced Christianity in rebranding.

Is it the belief of the Forksters that folks should not spread the Words of Christ? Should those other cultures have been encouraged to reject Christ and keep their sinful ways?

How many days out of the year are the Forksters willing to give over to Satan?

What throws ole Forky is when you ask him what it is that Christians "follow" that ain't Christ.

So far he's not been able to come up with anything.

So, Mike below are verses that you have posted. I can guarantee that as a Christian I do exactly this. You are just as bad as the false prophets and Pharisees. You really are what drives people from Jesus.

23-24 "It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself-Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration
&&&&&
I put God FIRST.

If you consider yourself a Christian you follow the teaching of Christianity not Jesus.

4-7 "Instead of giving you God's Law as food and drink by which you can banquet on God, they package it in bundles of rules, loading you down like pack animals. They seem to take pleasure in watching you stagger under these loads, and wouldn't think of lifting a finger to help. Their lives are perpetual fashion shows, embroidered prayer shawls one day and flowery prayers the next. They love to sit at the head table at church dinners, basking in the most prominent positions, preening in the radiance of public flattery, receiving honorary degrees, and getting called 'Doctor' and 'Reverend

8-10 "Don't let people do that to you, put you on a pedestal like that. You all have a single Teacher, and you are all classmates. Don't set people up as experts over your life, letting them tell you what to do. Save that authority for God; let him tell you what to do. No one else should carry the title of 'Father'; you have only one Father, and he's in heaven. And don't let people maneuver you into taking charge of them. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them-Christ.

Exodus 19:5
King James Version
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Jeremiah 7:23 says, "But this command I gave them: Obey my voice and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way I command you, that it may be well with you"

Matthew 4:4 of the Bible says, "But he answered and said, 'It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God'"

Matthew 4 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 5 17
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Mark 7:6
"And the Lord said: 'Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men'".
Mark 7:7
"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men

You can believe in whatever you want. Jesus taught One Way. GODS WAY. If you're not willing to surrender to God you don't have a Chance to receive ETERNAL LIFE. Maybe you should ask yourself. Why did I get baptized into the family of God and not follow the Father to receive the gift of Life.

47-50 "If anyone hears what I am saying and doesn't take it seriously, I don't reject him. I didn't come to reject the world; I came to save the world. But you need to know that whoever puts me off, refusing to take in what I'm saying, is willfully choosing rejection. The Word, the Word-made-flesh that I have spoken and that I am, that Word and no other is the last word. I'm not making any of this up on my own. The Father who sent me gave me orders, told me what to say and how to say it. And I know exactly what his command produces: real and eternal life. That's all I have to say. What the Father told me, I tell you.

Who do you live for??? Protest the Christian Religion in favor of God.

23-24 "It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. 25 The woman said, "I don't know about that. I do know that the Messiah is coming. When he arrives, we'll get the whole story."

26 "I am he," said Jesus. "You don't have to wait any longer or look any further

Exodus 19:5
Jeremiah 7;23
Matthew 4:4
Matthew 4:17
Matthew 5:17
Mark 7:6-7

The Pharisees and religion scholars asked, "Why do your disciples brush off the rules, showing up at meals without washing their hands?"

6-8 Jesus answered, "Isaiah was right about frauds like you, hit the bull's-eye in fact:

These people make a big show of saying the right thing,
but their heart isn't in it.
They act like they are worshiping me,
but they don't mean it.
They just use me as a cover
for teaching whatever suits their fancy,
Ditching God's command
and taking up the latest fads."

Matthew 23
The Message
Religious Fashion Shows
23 1-3 Now Jesus turned to address his disciples, along with the crowd that had gathered with them. "The religion scholars and Pharisees are competent teachers in God's Law. You won't go wrong in following their teachings on Moses. But be careful about following them. They talk a good line, but they don't live it. They don't take it into their hearts and live it out in their behavior. It's all spit-and-polish veneer.

They love to sit at the head table at church dinners, basking in the most prominent positions, preening in the radiance of public flattery, receiving honorary degrees, and getting called 'Doctor' and 'Reverend.'

8-10 "Don't let people do that to you, put you on a pedestal like that. You all have a single Teacher, and you are all classmates. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them-Christ.

11-12 "Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant. If you puff yourself up, you'll get the wind knocked out of you. But if you're content to simply be yourself, your life will count for plenty.
